Freelance Designs

For the past two years I've had the privilege of working with the very talented Lowes.com team in Moresville, NC. I've filled a number of roles during a period of transition. Here are some samples of design I've done over the years.

Samples of work done for Yahoo! over a two year period at Macquarium. Art direction and graphic design.

Executive Wealth Management engaged Macquarium for a brand refresh, website and software redesign. This project offered a variety of print and digital design opportunities. The final deliverable included website, software, business card, power point, letterhead and even a racing sailboat redesigns.

Built entirely in flash, the in store kiosk was developed as an information resource for in store customers. Lexus is a premiere brand and this project led the way for additional engagements between Genex and Lexus.

The Sweet Side of Swing is a national West Coast Swing workshop weekend hosted in Atlanta. Event design provides fun opportunities to create a brand from scratch and apply the visual system to a variety of formats. Websites, t-shirts, flyers, stage banners and even temporary tattoos are part of what makes event design fun.

Honda's excellent engineering reputation also extends into the outboard boating. During initial concepting, I found the visual wave metaphor (often found in other designs) to be appropriate in this case. The site has since been redesigned, but elements of this approach still remain.

Down South Swing is an Atlanta based swing dance instruction, performance and demonstration organization. In 2006 they organized a national swing dance event entitled Down South Camp Meetin'.

Wicked Westie is a weekly Swing Dance event in Atlanta. Now in its second year of operation, it continues to grow in attendance and is putting together a national event tailored toward follows.
